Marc Rogers was a good goalie on two good Memorial teams. Neither one was quite good enough to go to State, losing in the Sectional Finals to Chippewa Falls and Superior. One of Rogers' most memorable wins came in an overtime WIAA Tournament game, a 6-5 win over North on 2/22/86. He came in in relief and got the win when Chris Thiesing scored. He is pictured above celebrating with teammate Jim Isaacson.
