Hunter Scott was the all-time leading career and single-season goal-scorer for Memorial when he graduated. He also became the first Memorial player to notch a hat trick in a State Tournament game, leading the Abes to a 4-2 quarterfinal win over Superior on 3/4/10. Hunter had the best season ever by an Old Abe freshman, breaking a record set by Jake Dowell. He scored 17 goals, including one of the biggest in Memorial history, the eventual game-winner in the 2008 WIAA State Championship game. He followed it up with a solid sophomore season, but was derailed by an injury and illness late in the season. Hunter is a nephew of former Old Abe star Andy Akervik.
Hunter is playing college hockey for UW-Stout. See his current stats here.
