In case anyone's confused by the "emoticons" or "smilies" that I use online, here's a quick guide!

| :-) | :) =) | Your standard "smile" smiley |
| :-( | :( | "Sad" face |
| ;-) | ;) | A wink, used to indicate the sentiment "just kidding" or anything else a wink would normally be used for. |
| :-D | :D | Either a big smile, or laughing |
| :-\ | Sympathy, uncertainty, worry | |
| :-p | "Nyah!" Annoyance, disgust, | |
| o_0 | 0_o | Equivalent to "Huh?" or "I'm creeped out" or "That's very weird." A very useful one. |
| ^_^ | A perky, innocent smile | |
| ^_^; | Same as above but with an anime sweatdrop. Basically used for times of both embarassment and amusement. | |
| -_-; | Similiar to the above, but without the amusement. This one's more for hopelessness or shame. | |
| >_< | This one is a scrunched up grimace, basically used for disgust or contempt. | |
| O_O | 0_0 | The "deer-in-the-headlights" look for extreme shock or surprise, or sometimes when I'm really impressed by something. |
| :-o | "Oooh!" Usually for surprise, but of a lesser degree than the O_O one. | |
| XD | }-) | Evil, mischievous |
| :-9 | "Yum!" When something tastes good. | |
| B-) | 8-) | Sunglasses. Feelin' cool, or referring to Bronzar. ;) |
