The Author

Me!Hello!  I'm Katie Sullivan, author of Heritage in the Stars and the webmaster of this site.  I graduated from college in 2003 with a degree in English literature.  I've spent my whole life here in the same city in Wisconsin.   I'm an only child and I love my parents, goldfish and bettas.

I've always loved reading, and I began seriously writing in 1991.  I enjoy writing fan fiction for various fandoms online, but the characters closest to my heart are my own...even if they are green!

My dream is to become a published (and successful) novelist, and if Heritage in the Stars is a hit I've got the short drafts of two sequels lined up.

Me!Some of my favorite authors include Brian Jacques, David Eddings, Arthur C. Clarke, Mark Twain, William Shakespeare, Jane Austen, John Christopher, Christian Jacq, Peter David, Tor Seidler, J.K. Rowling, Dave Barry and Douglas Adams.  My favorite book of all time is Watership Down by Richard Adams.  My other interests include linguistics, Disney comics and animation, drawing/cartooning, Neopets, postcard collecting, travel, history, geography, Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals, llamas, manatees, Egyptology, cryptozoology, meterology and computers.
