Morrie was the sixth fish in my family, and my first non-goldfish pet. I got him from a local pet store. I only had him for a short time before he was called to fishie heaven, but he'll always be special because he was my first betta. Age: He lived with me from June 5th to June 22nd, 2004. Species: Betta splendens Size: About two inches including tail Gender: Male Hobbies: Exploring the jungle, hiding in his cave, hunting down food, cuddling his purple plastic seashell, and defending his territory from the evil mirror-betta. ;) Dislikes: Being pointed at. Diet: Freeze-dried bloodworms, BioBlend betta bites, Wardley betta pellets, Hikari Betta BioGold, and more Habitat: A five-and-a-half gallon tank in my bedroom. Nicknames: Big Bad Betta, King Morrie Namesake: Henry Morrison Flagler, a historical figure from the early development of Florida. I'm a history geek, OK? ;) There's no real connection between the industrialist and the fish. Photos
