MiST: Derived  from "Mystery Science Theater 3000" (MST3K), a television show wherein a guy and a couple robots are trapped on the Satellite of Love, being forced to watch the world's most hideous movies.  To keep their sanity, they insert their own comments and insults and sound effects into the film, with hilarious results.  If you've never seen it, you simply must.
This technique has worked its way into the fanfic universe. 

We've all had this experience: You click into a new fanfic, expecting a nice story about some of your favorite characters.  But before long the lack of plot, bad characterization, horrible spelling and punctuation, tortured grammar and/or general stupidity send your head reeling.  You want to scream at the screen, "This is crap!"  Well, some of us are demented enough to actually do that, and the result?  Well, return to the main page and see for yourself...
