How did you put together this massive Encyclopedia, and how long did it take you?
I re-read (well, actually it was more like re-re-re-re-read, but...) all the books with a notebook and pen in paw ;-) and jotted down notes. Compiling the information, typing it up and HTML-ing it took me about two months. Of course, I have done a lot more work on it since then, as new books have come out. It has been online since 18 May 1997.
Can I print out the Encyclopedia?
You are welcome to print out one copy of the Redwall
Encyclopedia for personal use while you're offline, but it may not be posted anywhere else
on the web. And don't even think about doing something dumb like trying to take
credit for it! You are welcome to link to it, however. The same goes for the Huge List O'Links.
What about the images on the site?
Aside from the pictures in the art gallery, I cannot claim copyright for any of the other Redwall pictures on this site. I did, however, invest a large amount of time scanning many of the illustrations in the Encyclopedia, and would at least appreciate a link back to my page if you choose to use any of them on your own webpage. Thanks for your understanding.

I read them in the publication order, except Redwall and Mossflower were switched around. For the publication and chronological order of the books, visit this page.
What are your thoughts on flames?
I don't let them bother me much. I've gotten a few doozies from time to time, but I think flames say much more about the ignorance of the person sending them than they do about the person receiving them. I don't reply to e-mails with profanity or insulting comments. Fortunately most Redwallers are polite and this isn't a huge problem for me. :)
Can you put my art and fan fics up on your page?
Unfortunately, I don't have the time or server space to post other fans' works. Sorry! The only exception is for pictures of my own character, Snowfur. If you want to draw her, I'll post your pic.
Can you send me anything by snail-mail, or can I mail something to you?
Absolutely not. It's not safe to give out your mailing address to people you don't know. I don't want to do it, and you shouldn't either.
Do you belong to any online Redwall clubs? Will you join my club?
I belong to http://www.rwclub.org/, but I'm no longer an active member. I belong to some non-Redwall clubs, but I don't have time to participate in many.
Do you MUCK?
I've tried it once or twice and was somewhat confused. I started to figure it out, but I frankly don't need another thing to get addicted to and keep me on the computer! ;)
How did you come up with the name Snowfur?
I'm fascinated by weather, so I started thinking of weather words that I could make into a Redwallish name.
Are you ever going to write more fan fic or Mossflower Talks?
Probably not. I'm simply not as obsessed with Redwall as I once was, and I can't force my muse. If I'm not inspired, I can't write...at least, not well!
Can I write an episode of Mossflower Talk?
Feel free to write Redwallish talk show skits, but the name "Mossflower Talk" and the character "Snowfur" are mine and are not to be used by anyone else.

Yikes, I barely have time to maintain my own! I certainly don't have time help total strangers with theirs! o_0
Who's your favorite Redwall character? Your favorite villain? Your favorite hero? What's your favorite book?
I don't know that I can choose just one character who's my favorite. My favorite villain is Cluny the Scourge, but I also really like Tsarmina, Klitch, Ferahgo, Slagar, Swartt and Veil--if you can count him as a villain. ;) My favorite hero is probably Matthias, but I also love Dotti, Martin, Mariel and Sunflash. It's just so hard to choose! Eek! My favorite Redwall book is probably the original Redwall, followed very closely by Mossflower, Outcast of Redwall and Mattimeo.
